Seahawks Turn In Lengthy Injury Report Ahead Of Patriots Matchup

Seahawks Release Lengthy Injury Report Ahead of Patriots Matchup

Russell Wilson, Chris Carson, and Others Listed as Questionable

Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll acknowledged that there will be uncertainty surrounding player availability for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.

The Seahawks released their final injury report on Friday, and it featured a number of key players listed as questionable. Quarterback Russell Wilson, running back Chris Carson, and wide receiver Tyler Lockett are all dealing with injuries that could limit their participation in the game.

Wilson is dealing with a finger injury that he suffered in last week's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Carson is nursing an ankle injury, while Lockett is dealing with a hamstring injury.

If Wilson is unable to play, Geno Smith will start at quarterback for the Seahawks. Carson and Lockett could also be replaced by Alex Collins and DK Metcalf, respectively.

The Seahawks are hoping to get all of their injured players back on the field for Sunday's game, but they will have to wait and see how they progress over the next few days.

Updated Injury Report

  • Russell Wilson (QB) - Questionable (finger)
  • Chris Carson (RB) - Questionable (ankle)
  • Tyler Lockett (WR) - Questionable (hamstring)

Outlook for Sunday's Game

The Seahawks are currently 3-3 on the season and in need of a win to stay in the NFC playoff race. The Patriots are 4-4 and also looking to improve their playoff chances.

The Patriots are favored by 3 points in the game, but the Seahawks have a history of playing well against New England. The Seahawks have won three of the last four meetings between the two teams.

Sunday's game will be a key matchup for both teams. The Seahawks need a win to stay in the playoff race, while the Patriots need a win to improve their playoff position.
